      <description><![CDATA[One of the great thing about what Iron Inspired is that for many of the old coalhole designs, that not only have s not only are some of the designs rich in ornate and decorative detail but also have a wealth of background history with stories behind the names jjTheof about the people who made them and the ers becomintales to tell of companies being founded and empires risiing of some of the eary that they also have a rich background history from the founders bringing back to life the past and sometimes with a refreshing and  unusual twists of fate. Last Saturday was one of the refreshing days when I was kindly invited to my first Coalhole opening party which was hosted by and attended by members the Pryke Family. For those with sharp eyes on some of the designs I have on the London bespoke page, a Victorian coal hole cover made by the Pryke & Palmer company has now found its way back to its roots and was unveiled as a centre piece in one of the family's living rooms. It was a very memorable moment for me to see this and likewise for them as they are immensely proud of their family history and of great grandfather Sir William Robert Pryke who founded in the 1877 with a William Palmer the once large builders merchants and ironmongers,  and whose first products back in the 1880s was quite possibly this lovely and ornate coalhole design.
